Event though I've got a tried and tested template that makes creating articles on my "proper" blog pages at Route 79 really easy, sometimes it's just a little bit too much effort. So here is where I post the quick-fire everyday stuff that I can't be bothered to blog "properly" about.

You know how sometimes you remember you saw something on the Internet that you particularly liked AGES ago, but you’ve simply no idea where you saw it, and it’s been bugging you on and off ever since. Well, I finally found a YouTube video of a live musical performance of a song called Especially for You; originally sung as a duet by Kylie Minogue and some other Neighbours actor in the 1980s, but this one by a Filipino pop group. I know it sounds really cheesy, but I have to admit I liked this version. The lead singer simply has a very nice clean voice and the guitar accompaniment is simple and fresh. Just easy listening.
Lunch at a kebab shop in Slough
Except this was no ordinary kebab shop. This was Al Fanouse, an excellent-value Lebanese eatery on the High Street in Slough. The food is very tasty, and very inexpensive:
